Pas parce qu\u2019elles \u00e9taient dramatiques ou spectaculaires, mais parce qu\u2019elles marquent <strong>un basculement silencieux<\/strong> dans le cours de notre vie. Pour moi, c\u2019\u00e9tait une nuit d\u2019octobre, froide, calme, presque ordinaire. J\u2019\u00e9tais \u00e9puis\u00e9e, vid\u00e9e \u00e9motionnellement, comme chaque jour depuis des mois. Ma vie se r\u00e9sumait \u00e0 un emploi que je n\u2019aimais pas, un appartement trop petit, et une solitude dont je ne parlais \u00e0 personne. Je traversais le parc pour couper chemin, comme d\u2019habitude, quand j\u2019ai aper\u00e7u une silhouette recroquevill\u00e9e sur un banc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au d\u00e9but, j\u2019ai acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 le pas. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019on fait tous, non ? Ne pas s\u2019arr\u00eater. Ne pas se m\u00ealer. Mais il y avait quelque chose dans la posture de ce gar\u00e7on \u2014 car c\u2019\u00e9tait bien <strong>un gar\u00e7on, pas un homme<\/strong> \u2014 qui m\u2019a pouss\u00e9e \u00e0 m\u2019approcher. Il devait avoir dix-sept, peut-\u00eatre dix-huit ans. Tremp\u00e9, frigorifi\u00e9, les mains autour des genoux, la t\u00eate baiss\u00e9e. Ses v\u00eatements \u00e9taient trop fins pour la saison. Ses yeux, quand il a lev\u00e9 le regard vers moi, \u00e9taient <strong>pleins de fatigue et de peur<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je n\u2019ai pas r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi. Je lui ai demand\u00e9 s\u2019il avait mang\u00e9. Il a hauss\u00e9 les \u00e9paules. J\u2019ai sorti une barre de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales de mon sac. Il l\u2019a prise, h\u00e9sitant, presque g\u00ean\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je croyais que c\u2019\u00e9tait moi qui l\u2019aidais. Que j\u2019\u00e9tais celle qui offrait une once de compassion dans un monde qui l\u2019avait oubli\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je ne savais pas encore que c\u2019\u00e9tait lui qui allait me ramener \u00e0 la vie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une connexion inattendue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Je suis revenue le lendemain. Il \u00e9tait encore l\u00e0. Je lui ai apport\u00e9 une couverture et un sandwich. Il a souri, timidement. Il s\u2019appelait <strong>Na\u00ebl<\/strong>. Il avait quitt\u00e9 la maison depuis quelques semaines. Rien de spectaculaire : conflits familiaux, incompr\u00e9hensions, un p\u00e8re trop strict, une m\u00e8re absente. Il s\u2019\u00e9tait retrouv\u00e9 \u00e0 errer, dormir l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il pouvait, \u00e9vitant les foyers \u00ab pleins de r\u00e8gles et de regards \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je lui ai propos\u00e9 un th\u00e9 chaud chez moi. Juste pour se r\u00e9chauffer. Il a refus\u00e9, d\u2019abord. Puis, \u00e0 force de patience, de silence partag\u00e9, il a accept\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette nuit-l\u00e0, il a dormi sur mon canap\u00e9. Et moi, pour la premi\u00e8re fois depuis des mois, <strong>j\u2019ai dormi sans cauchemar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Petit \u00e0 petit, lumi\u00e8re<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Na\u00ebl ne m\u2019a jamais demand\u00e9 d\u2019aide. Il ne s\u2019est jamais plaint. Il vivait dans le moment pr\u00e9sent avec une sagesse \u00e9trange pour son \u00e2ge. Il m\u2019\u00e9coutait quand je parlais, vraiment. Il ne jugeait pas. Il posait des questions, sur ma vie, mon pass\u00e9, mes r\u00eaves d\u2019avant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un soir, je lui ai avou\u00e9 que j\u2019avais pens\u00e9 \u00e0 en finir, quelques semaines plus t\u00f4t. Que plus rien n\u2019avait de sens. Il m\u2019a regard\u00e9e sans d\u00e9tourner les yeux. Et il m\u2019a dit :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00ab Tu m\u2019as tendu la main. Tu m\u2019as vue. Maintenant, c\u2019est \u00e0 moi de te voir. \u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il ne le savait pas, mais ces mots m\u2019ont sauv\u00e9e. Pas parce qu\u2019ils \u00e9taient beaux. Mais parce qu\u2019ils \u00e9taient vrais. Parce que quelqu\u2019un, enfin, me voyait \u2014 <strong>enti\u00e8rement<\/strong>, sans masque, sans jugement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La suite<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Na\u00ebl a fini par trouver une structure qui l\u2019a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 reprendre ses \u00e9tudes. Il est brillant, curieux, passionn\u00e9 par la photo et l\u2019architecture. Il vient me voir souvent. On cuisine ensemble. On parle de livres, de musique, de ce que c\u2019est que d\u2019\u00eatre \u00ab un peu cass\u00e9, mais encore debout \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moi, j\u2019ai chang\u00e9 de travail. J\u2019ai repris la peinture. J\u2019ai recommenc\u00e9 \u00e0 sourire pour de vrai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et parfois, quand on se retrouve autour d\u2019un caf\u00e9, je lui dis :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00ab Tu sais, cette nuit-l\u00e0, je croyais t\u2019avoir sauv\u00e9. \u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il me r\u00e9pond, sans h\u00e9siter, comme un refrain qu\u2019on ne se lassera jamais de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00ab Mais c\u2019est moi qui t\u2019ai trouv\u00e9e. Et c\u2019est ensemble qu\u2019on a gu\u00e9ri. \u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parce que parfois, le salut ne vient pas d\u2019un h\u00e9ros\u2026 mais d\u2019une rencontre inattendue, au bon moment.
