Elle nettoyait la pierre tombale, posait les fleurs dans le petit vase en fer rouill\u00e9, et restait l\u00e0. Parfois elle parlait \u00e0 voix basse. Parfois elle pleurait. Mais elle venait. Le ciel \u00e9tait couvert, l\u2019air humide. \u00c9lise marchait lentement entre les all\u00e9es, saluant en silence les pierres famili\u00e8res. Lorsqu\u2019elle arriva devant la tombe de Marc, elle s\u2019arr\u00eata net.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le sol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9plac\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pas beaucoup. Juste assez pour que quelqu\u2019un attentif puisse le remarquer. Un l\u00e9ger affaissement. Des traces de terre plus sombre. Et surtout\u2026 une empreinte. Une chaussure. R\u00e9cente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le c\u0153ur battant, elle recula d\u2019un pas. Puis deux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas une hallucination. Quelqu\u2019un avait touch\u00e9 \u00e0 la tombe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paniqu\u00e9e, elle alerta le gardien du cimeti\u00e8re. La police fut appel\u00e9e. Ce qu\u2019ils d\u00e9couvrirent fit fr\u00e9mir tout le village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le cercueil\u2026 \u00e9tait vide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pas de restes. Pas d\u2019os. Pas un seul indice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La tombe avait \u00e9t\u00e9 soigneusement referm\u00e9e, comme si rien ne s\u2019\u00e9tait pass\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9lise s\u2019effondra sur place. Les mots ne sortaient plus.
