Mais \u00e0 14h27, tout a bascul\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un bruit m\u00e9tallique. Un silence. Puis la panique.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Tout a commenc\u00e9 pr\u00e8s du pavillon des primates.
Une famille prenait des photos devant l\u2019enclos des gorilles quand un vacarme m\u00e9tallique s\u2019est fait entendre.
Une grille venait de c\u00e9der.
Et Bakari<\/strong>, un gorille de 210 kilos, s\u2019est \u00e9lanc\u00e9 hors de sa cage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des cris ont \u00e9clat\u00e9, des visiteurs ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 courir. Certains ont cru \u00e0 une animation.
Mais tr\u00e8s vite, tout le monde a compris que ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas une simulation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Face \u00e0 face inattendu<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Au lieu de s\u2019enfuir dans le parc, Bakari a couru droit vers un homme : un visiteur isol\u00e9, rest\u00e9 fig\u00e9 de peur.<\/strong>
Une confrontation semblait in\u00e9vitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le gorille s\u2019est arr\u00eat\u00e9 \u00e0 deux m\u00e8tres. Il grognait, battait des poings au sol. Tendu. Pr\u00eat \u00e0 charger.
Le personnel du zoo criait aux gens de s\u2019abriter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais alors\u2026 quelque chose d\u2019inimaginable s\u2019est produit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Un geste inattendu<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Le visiteur \u2014 plus tard identifi\u00e9 comme Alexandre M., ancien militaire et passionn\u00e9 de primatologie<\/strong> \u2014 s\u2019est lentement mis \u00e0 genoux<\/strong>, baissant les yeux, dans une posture d\u2019apaisement.
Et Bakari\u2026 s\u2019est arr\u00eat\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019animal l\u2019a regard\u00e9 longuement. Puis s\u2019est approch\u00e9.
Il a tendu sa main.
Et Alexandre a tendu la sienne.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ils se sont touch\u00e9s. Doucement. Comme s\u2019ils se comprenaient.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Le silence dans tout le zoo<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Personne ne parlait. Tous les t\u00e9moins retenaient leur souffle. Un agent de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 a lev\u00e9 un pistolet \u00e0 tranquillisant, mais n\u2019a pas tir\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le gorille est rest\u00e9 l\u00e0. Trente longues secondes. Puis il s\u2019est tourn\u00e9\u2026 et est reparti de lui-m\u00eame<\/strong> vers son enclos bris\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des soigneurs l\u2019y ont suivi sans r\u00e9sistance. Il est rentr\u00e9. Volontairement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Et ensuite ?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bakari a \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9 : aucune blessure, aucun signe d\u2019agressivit\u00e9 prolong\u00e9e<\/strong>. Il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 perturb\u00e9 par un bruit fort, ou par une anomalie dans le syst\u00e8me de fermeture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quant \u00e0 Alexandre, il est devenu un h\u00e9ros discret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Je n\u2019ai pas r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi. J\u2019ai juste appliqu\u00e9 ce que j\u2019avais appris : rester calme, ne pas d\u00e9fier, parler son langage \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 aux journalistes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
