Le ciel \u00e9tait bleu, la mer d\u2019un calme presque irr\u00e9el. Sur la plage de la petite station baln\u00e9aire de Belle-Roche, les vacanciers profitaient de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi : enfants jouant dans le sable, couples marchant au bord de l\u2019eau, surfeurs attendant la bonne vague. Rien ne laissait pr\u00e9sager que, quelques instants plus tard, le d\u00e9cor idyllique basculerait dans l\u2019incompr\u00e9hensible.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 15h12, sans aucun signe avant-coureur, une vague anormalement grande<\/strong>, plus haute que toutes les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes, a surgi \u00e0 l\u2019horizon. Elle n\u2019avait rien d\u2019un tsunami, mais sa puissance \u00e9tait d\u00e9rangeante. Elle s\u2019est abattue sur la plage avec une force d\u00e9mesur\u00e9e<\/strong>, projetant transats, jouets, serviettes et vacanciers dans un tumulte sal\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab On s\u2019est tous mis \u00e0 courir, mais la vague nous a rattrap\u00e9s \u00bb, raconte Chlo\u00e9, 19 ans, venue en week-end avec ses amis.
\u00ab J\u2019ai cru que c\u2019\u00e9tait fini\u2026 \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Heureusement, la vague s\u2019est rapidement retir\u00e9e. Aucune victime n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9e, quelques contusions, des t\u00e9l\u00e9phones perdus, des pleurs. Mais une fois la mer redevenue calme\u2026 quelque chose clochait<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le silence qui suivit n\u2019\u00e9tait pas naturel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les oiseaux ne chantaient plus. Le vent s’\u00e9tait arr\u00eat\u00e9. Et surtout, l\u2019eau n\u2019\u00e9tait plus la m\u00eame<\/strong>. Elle semblait plus sombre, plus lourde. Les surfeurs encore pr\u00e9sents sur leurs planches ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 remarquer des mouvements \u00e9tranges sous la surface<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019un d\u2019eux, Julien, a \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier \u00e0 parler d\u2019une \u00ab masse noire \u00bb qui se d\u00e9pla\u00e7ait lentement au fond. Un autre a senti une traction violente<\/strong> sur sa jambe, comme si quelque chose essayait de l\u2019attirer vers le fond<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 15h25, une deuxi\u00e8me vague \u2014 plus petite, mais plus \u00e9trange \u2014 a ramen\u00e9 \u00e0 la rive des algues \u00e9paisses, des poissons morts et\u2026 un objet m\u00e9tallique couvert de coquillages<\/strong>. Un vieux fragment de coque de bateau, selon les premiers t\u00e9moins. Mais il portait encore des marques de griffures profondes<\/strong>, et une inscription effac\u00e9e, illisible<\/strong>, qui donnait la chair de poule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les sauveteurs, inquiets, ont fait \u00e9vacuer la plage. La gendarmerie maritime a \u00e9t\u00e9 alert\u00e9e. Des plongeurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9s dans la zone\u2026 mais leur rapport est rest\u00e9 partiellement confidentiel<\/strong>. Officiellement, rien d\u2019anormal n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officieusement, selon des t\u00e9moins locaux, un des plongeurs serait remont\u00e9 en panique, le visage bl\u00eame, r\u00e9p\u00e9tant simplement :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Ce n\u2019est pas naturel. Ce n\u2019est pas humain. \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Depuis ce jour, la plage de Belle-Roche est rouverte, mais beaucoup refusent d\u2019y retourner<\/strong>, surtout \u00e0 mar\u00e9e haute. On parle de sons \u00e9tranges la nuit. D\u2019ombres mouvantes sous les vagues. Et certains disent que la grande vague n\u2019\u00e9tait qu\u2019un avertissement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
