Des rires, des cris d\u2019\u00e9tonnement, des selfies pris avec pr\u00e9caution\u2026 Rien ne laissait pr\u00e9sager l\u2019instant qui allait <strong>faire basculer l\u2019ambiance dans la panique.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 11h38, alors qu\u2019un groupe s\u2019\u00e9tait arr\u00eat\u00e9 \u00e0 mi-parcours pour contempler le canyon, <strong>un grondement sourd s\u2019est fait entendre depuis la montagne en face.<\/strong> Certains ont d\u2019abord pens\u00e9 \u00e0 un avion ou \u00e0 un tremblement de terre\u2026 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019ils l\u00e8vent les yeux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Une masse rocheuse gigantesque venait de se d\u00e9tacher du flanc de la montagne.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un \u00e9boulement impressionnant, <strong>des dizaines de tonnes de pierre<\/strong> roulant \u00e0 toute vitesse vers le vide, dans une pluie de poussi\u00e8re, de gravats et de rochers. Et le plus effrayant : <strong>la trajectoire du glissement passait \u00e0 moins de 50 m\u00e8tres du pont.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les guides ont imm\u00e9diatement donn\u00e9 l\u2019alerte. Certains touristes se sont mis \u00e0 courir vers les extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s, d\u2019autres se sont accroupis en hurlant, incapables de bouger, les yeux riv\u00e9s sur la montagne qui s&#8217;effondrait.<br><strong>Le sol de verre tremblait.<\/strong> Des petites fissures esth\u00e9tiques, int\u00e9gr\u00e9es au verre pour simuler la peur, se m\u00ealaient au chaos r\u00e9el, rendant la sc\u00e8ne encore plus d\u00e9routante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une <strong>grosse pierre de la taille d\u2019un ballon de basket<\/strong> a m\u00eame percut\u00e9 la rambarde du pont \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 nord, provoquant une d\u00e9formation visible du m\u00e9tal. Heureusement, aucune section vitr\u00e9e n\u2019a c\u00e9d\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les rochers ont continu\u00e9 \u00e0 tomber dans le ravin pendant pr\u00e8s d\u2019une minute, <strong>une \u00e9ternit\u00e9 pour ceux qui se trouvaient suspendus au-dessus du vide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand enfin le silence est revenu, les visages \u00e9taient blancs, les jambes tremblantes. Une m\u00e8re pleurait, serrant son enfant dans ses bras. Un homme s\u2019est effondr\u00e9, en \u00e9tat de choc. Aucun bless\u00e9 grave n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9, mais <strong>plusieurs personnes ont d\u00fb \u00eatre prises en charge psychologiquement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les autorit\u00e9s ont imm\u00e9diatement \u00e9vacu\u00e9 le site et ouvert une enqu\u00eate. L\u2019origine de l\u2019\u00e9boulement serait due aux <strong>pr\u00e9cipitations abondantes<\/strong> des derniers jours qui auraient fragilis\u00e9 la paroi rocheuse, pourtant r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement surveill\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le pont a \u00e9t\u00e9 <strong>ferm\u00e9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nouvel ordre<\/strong>, et des ing\u00e9nieurs s\u2019emploient \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier chaque centim\u00e8tre de structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais pour ceux qui y \u00e9taient, <strong>plus rien ne sera jamais pareil<\/strong>. Ce qui devait \u00eatre un moment d\u2019\u00e9merveillement est devenu une le\u00e7on de fragilit\u00e9.
