Elle pensait que ce serait une simple randonn\u00e9e. Une escapade en montagne pour respirer l\u2019air frais, faire quelques photos pour ses r\u00e9seaux, et peut-\u00eatre affronter une petite mont\u00e9e d\u2019adr\u00e9naline. Mais ce jour-l\u00e0, Clara \u2014 24 ans, originaire de Lyon \u2014 s\u2019est retrouv\u00e9e au c\u0153ur d\u2019une sc\u00e8ne que personne n\u2019oubliera jamais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce matin-l\u00e0, Clara avait rejoint un groupe de randonneurs dans une r\u00e9gion recul\u00e9e des Alpes suisses. L\u2019itin\u00e9raire, d\u00e9crit comme “sportif mais accessible”, passait par des sentiers escarp\u00e9s, quelques ponts suspendus, et des vues \u00e0 couper le souffle. Rien qui puisse l\u2019inqui\u00e9ter. Elle avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait de la randonn\u00e9e. Elle se sentait pr\u00eate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais \u00e0 mi-parcours, le groupe arriva devant une structure unique : une passerelle m\u00e9tallique extr\u00eamement fine, tendue entre deux falaises. En dessous ? Le vide. Plus de 500 m\u00e8tres de chute libre. Le vent soufflait, les nuages passaient sous leurs pieds, et la structure grin\u00e7ait doucement \u00e0 chaque pas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normalement, tous les marcheurs doivent enfiler un harnais, s\u2019attacher \u00e0 la ligne de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et traverser lentement, un par un.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais ce jour-l\u00e0, le guide fut distrait. Clara, pensant que le passage \u00e9tait sans danger, ne remarqua m\u00eame pas qu\u2019elle avait oubli\u00e9 de s\u2019attacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle mit un pied sur la passerelle, puis un autre. Elle avan\u00e7ait lentement, avec pr\u00e9caution, mais sans aucune protection. Les autres randonneurs commenc\u00e8rent \u00e0 crier son pr\u00e9nom, paniqu\u00e9s, r\u00e9alisant qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait compl\u00e8tement expos\u00e9e. Mais le vent couvrait leur voix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et puis\u2026 un pas de trop.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un instant de d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre. Un cri \u00e9touff\u00e9. Son bras se leva pour tenter de retrouver l\u2019\u00e9quilibre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais Clara ne tomba pas. Elle se figea. Se reprit. Et continua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tous la regardaient, fig\u00e9s, comme si le temps s\u2019\u00e9tait arr\u00eat\u00e9. Un silence de glace envahit la montagne. M\u00eame le guide, habituellement imperturbable, restait sans voix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quand elle atteignit l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, enfin en s\u00e9curit\u00e9, les genoux tremblants, les larmes aux yeux \u2014 elle ne comprenait toujours pas ce qui venait de se passer. Ce n\u2019est que lorsque le guide l\u2019enla\u00e7a et lui montra la ligne de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 rest\u00e9e vide\u2026 qu\u2019elle comprit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle venait de marcher au-dessus du vide, \u00e0 500 m\u00e8tres d\u2019altitude, sans aucune attache.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce jour-l\u00e0, Clara n\u2019\u00e9tait pas une alpiniste. Pas une funambule. Juste une jeune femme partie pour une balade.
