Personne ne devrait enterrer son enfant. C\u2019est une douleur qui d\u00e9fie la logique, qui consume tout, m\u00eame les souvenirs heureux. Pour Marc Delarue, cette douleur devint insupportable le jour o\u00f9 sa fille unique, \u00c9lise, \u00e2g\u00e9e de 9 ans, perdit la vie dans un accident de la route. Un camion ivre de vitesse, un carrefour ignor\u00e9, et puis\u2026 plus rien. Le silence. L\u2019absence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc sombra. Il dormait peu, mangeait \u00e0 peine, parlait encore moins. Sa femme essayait de tenir bon, mais Marc, lui, n\u2019en \u00e9tait plus capable. Il passait ses journ\u00e9es \u00e0 s\u2019asseoir devant la porte de la chambre d\u2019\u00c9lise, \u00e0 effleurer les jouets qu\u2019elle avait laiss\u00e9s derri\u00e8re elle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est alors que lui vint une id\u00e9e \u00e9trange. Absurde, irrationnelle\u2026 mais il n\u2019avait plus rien \u00e0 perdre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trois jours avant l\u2019enterrement, Marc r\u00e9cup\u00e9ra une petite cam\u00e9ra infrarouge, utilis\u00e9e autrefois pour observer les animaux dans la for\u00eat. Il la programma pour s\u2019activer uniquement la nuit, silencieuse, sans flash. Puis, sans le dire \u00e0 personne, il la pla\u00e7a discr\u00e8tement dans le cercueil ouvert, juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019ours en peluche pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 d\u2019\u00c9lise. Peut-\u00eatre qu\u2019il voulait des preuves qu\u2019elle reposait en paix. Peut-\u00eatre qu\u2019il voulait\u2026 un signe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La cam\u00e9ra \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019un capteur de mouvement. Et la nuit m\u00eame apr\u00e8s les fun\u00e9railles, elle s\u2019enclencha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quand Marc r\u00e9cup\u00e9ra la carte m\u00e9moire le lendemain, il h\u00e9sita. Son esprit voulait croire qu\u2019il ne verrait rien. Que la cam\u00e9ra serait vide. Et pourtant\u2026 il l\u2019ouvrit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le premier enregistrement ne montrait rien. Le noir. L\u2019immobilit\u00e9. Mais \u00e0 3h17, quelque chose se produisit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une lumi\u00e8re douce, presque invisible, envahit bri\u00e8vement l\u2019\u00e9cran. Comme une brume. Puis, une forme. Floue, minuscule. On aurait dit une silhouette d\u2019enfant, assise. Puis un bras. Fin. L\u00e9ger. Qui se tendait vers l\u2019ours en peluche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc cessa de respirer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur l\u2019image, la peluche bougea. Nettement. Lentement. Comme si une petite main venait de la prendre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puis, une voix. \u00c0 peine audible. Un souffle, presque comme un soupir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Papa\u2026 je vais bien.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc tomba \u00e0 genoux, les larmes coulant sans fin. Ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas un cri, ni un appel au secours. C\u2019\u00e9tait un murmure de paix. Un adieu serein. Il repassa l\u2019enregistrement des dizaines de fois. Toujours la m\u00eame lumi\u00e8re. Toujours la m\u00eame voix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il ne montra la vid\u00e9o \u00e0 personne, pas m\u00eame \u00e0 sa femme. Pas parce qu\u2019il voulait garder un secret, mais parce qu\u2019il savait que c\u2019\u00e9tait un message destin\u00e9 \u00e0 lui seul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depuis ce jour, il ne remit plus jamais la cam\u00e9ra dans un cercueil. Il n\u2019avait plus besoin de preuve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
