Elle y avait v\u00e9cu plus de 40 ans. Tout sentait la naphtaline, les souvenirs, et\u2026 quelque chose d\u2019invisible, comme un silence \u00e9pais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"969\" src=\"https:\/\/joxovurdnews.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-36.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3936\" srcset=\"http:\/\/joxovurdnews.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-36.png 1024w, http:\/\/joxovurdnews.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-36-300x284.png 300w, http:\/\/joxovurdnews.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-36-768x727.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi ses affaires, il y avait ce vieux canap\u00e9 au tissu \u00e0 fleurs d\u00e9lav\u00e9es, d\u00e9form\u00e9 par les ann\u00e9es. Personne n\u2019en voulait. Mais moi, je l\u2019avais toujours associ\u00e9 \u00e0 elle \u2014 je m\u2019y asseyais enfant pendant qu\u2019elle me racontait des histoires. Alors je l\u2019ai pris, sans vraiment r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelques jours plus tard, en voulant le retapisser, j\u2019ai senti que <strong>quelque chose bougeait \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur<\/strong>. J\u2019ai cru \u00e0 un objet oubli\u00e9 ou \u00e0 un simple ressort cass\u00e9. En retirant l\u2019assise, j\u2019ai aper\u00e7u <strong>un renflement anormal<\/strong> dans le rembourrage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J\u2019ai d\u00e9coup\u00e9 d\u00e9licatement la doublure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, bien cal\u00e9e entre deux lattes en bois, il y avait une <strong>bo\u00eete en fer rouill\u00e9e, envelopp\u00e9e dans un foulard en soie<\/strong>. J\u2019ai h\u00e9sit\u00e9. Puis je l\u2019ai ouverte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans cette bo\u00eete, il y avait :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>des lettres anciennes<\/strong>, certaines \u00e9crites dans une langue que je ne reconnaissais pas,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>des coupures de journaux jaunis<\/strong>, mentionnant des disparitions de femmes dans les ann\u00e9es 1960,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>une <strong>m\u00e8che de cheveux bruns<\/strong>, soigneusement nou\u00e9e avec un ruban noir,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>et enfin, un <strong>petit carnet \u00e0 la couverture de cuir craquel\u00e9e<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En le lisant, j\u2019ai senti mon estomac se nouer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le carnet semblait tenir lieu de confession. Il racontait des r\u00eaves \u00e9tranges, <strong>des voix dans la nuit<\/strong>, un &#8220;visiteur&#8221; qui revenait toujours les nuits de pleine lune. La derni\u00e8re page ne contenait qu\u2019une seule phrase, griffonn\u00e9e avec une main tremblante :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00ab Tant que la bo\u00eete reste ferm\u00e9e, je suis en s\u00e9curit\u00e9. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais je l\u2019avais ouverte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis ce jour, il y a des bruits chez moi que je n\u2019explique pas. Des pas lents, comme tra\u00eenants, quand tout devrait \u00eatre silencieux. Parfois, le canap\u00e9 <strong>craque tout seul<\/strong>, comme si quelqu\u2019un s\u2019y asseyait\u2026 ou se levait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et la bo\u00eete, malgr\u00e9 mes efforts pour la cacher, <strong>r\u00e9appara\u00eet parfois dans des endroits o\u00f9 je ne l\u2019ai pas laiss\u00e9e.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je ne dors plus vraiment.
